He describes himself as simply, “grateful” —for the opportunity to share his wisdom and experience through workshops, meeting and learning from people, hearing their stories, playing a small role in sparking positive change for others.

Charlie is also a family man, businessman and community activist, currently serving as President and Co-owner of Frank Semeraro Construction Co. Inc. A committed father of four, Charlie is also a grandfather, and husband to his wife Fran of over 35 years. He holds a BA degree in Science from New Jersey Institute of Technology.

It All Started When …

Over years of developing land for municipal, industrial and residential projects, Charlie found himself questioning the impact of his work on the ecosystem.  His business is now mainly focused on public water supply systems and water conservation.

His passion is to assist others to be the best version of their nature inter-personally, relation-ally and in their work environment—where all systems can work together—harmoniously, peacefully and honestly. This model serves as an important framework for cultivating the most important relationship we all have—the one with ourselves.

Bridging the Indigenous & Modern Worlds / bridging science & spirituality

Charlie’s spirituality is rooted in an early up bringing in the Catholic Church. This tradition helps him feel very much at home facilitating workshops in churches and other places of spirituality. An environmentalist at heart, Charlie is passionate about creating an “environmentally sustainable, spiritually fulfilling, socially-just human presence on this planet”* and furthering a future where inner wisdom and science work together to address some of the most pressing issues in our world. Charlie co-facilitated a 30-week course in social justice for the Franciscan Social Justice Network, served as Board Member at Genesis Farm, an education center that promotes Earth Spirituality, and is a trained facilitator for Transition Town USA, a group that advocates sustainability, and for the *Pachamama Alliance, a group that advocates for indigenous rights and the rights of nature.

Drawing on personal experience and the wisdom of a wide array of spiritual leaders with his deepening awareness of the interconnectedness of all things, Charlie serves as a bridge between indigenous and modern worlds , making esoteric concepts of science and spirituality more easily accessible.
